Employer Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend you register as soon as possible after registration opens to secure your spot. Registration officially closes on August 23rd, 2024; however, it will close early when we reach our maximum company capacity for both days.
Registering early will allow you to choose the day on which you will attend. Each day has a limit for how many companies may attend, and registration for a particular day will close when that limit is reached. Additionally, sponsorship tiers have limited availability, and are first-come first-serve.
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made before 11:45 PM ET on August 23rd, 2024. No refunds will be granted after this time.
Registration for one day costs $900 ($425 for approved non-profit/government organizations). Companies may only register for one day at this time due to high demand and limited space. Sponsorship packages and their benefits can be found here.
Selecting the open option will place your table in a hallway or atrium, open and highly visible to passing students. If you have attended the Fall Engineering Career Fair in the past, this is the layout that you saw on that occasion. The closed option will place your table inside a secured room in close proximity to the open part of the fair. Students will be required to check their bags and present ID before accessing the enclosed space.
Registration & Payment
The fair will be held from 10 AM - 4 PM on both days. However, recruiters are not required to be available for the entire day.
Please contact the Engineering Career Resource Center (ECRC) at ecrc-ocr@umich.edu to discuss interview options.

Approaching the Day of the Career Fair
The career fair is two days long, but companies are limited to attending one day, due to high demand.
There are two career fairs held for the entire College of Engineering, one in the fall and one in the winter. The career fair in the fall is hosted by TBP and SWE, while the career fair in the winter is sponsored by the ECRC.
The best way to contact us is via email at careerfair@umich.edu. If you need to talk to us, send us an email with a phone number and we will call you.
More than 4,000 University of Michigan students are expected to attend the fair, including both undergraduate and graduate students. Most students will be engineers.
Information sessions can be arranged through the organizations that run the fair, Tau Beta Pi (TBP) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
